Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy A22 4G and Galaxy A22 5G smartphones. The latter is expected to arrive as the cheapest 5G phone from the brand. The handset was spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking site last month with Dimensity 700. Now, the 4G edition of the phone has paid a visit to the benchmarking site to reveal some of its key specs.

The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy A22 4G revealed that it will be arriving with an Helio G80 chipset. The SoC is mentioned with the model number MT6769V/CT in the Geekbench listing. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The handset boots to Android 11 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, it scored 293 and 1247 points, respectively. Apart from Geekbench, the handset has surfaced at FCC certification with a 15W charger.

Samsung is speculated to launch the Galaxy A22 series of smartphones in June in different markets. Recently seen leaked renders of the A22 4G revealed that it has a waterdrop notch display on the front, a quad-camera setup on the back, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The A22 4G is expected to arrive in four colors such as black, white, violet, and green.
